Objective |
Training of specialists possessing advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in modern areas of biological sciences and biology teaching methodology, as well as skills in organizational work and management activities. Graduates are awarded the academic degree of Master of Pedagogical Sciences in the Educational Program 7M015 “Biology”. Masters of Pedagogical Sciences may hold positions in accordance with the Standard Qualification Characteristics of Pedagogical Workers and Equivalent Persons (as amended and supplemented as of July 22, 2022). |

LO1. Demonstrates a systemic understanding of contemporary issues in philosophy and science, and mastery of methodological approaches that enable the acquisition and assimilation of objective and reliable scientific knowledge. LO2. Systematizes scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in social sciences, humanities, economics, and pedagogical disciplines for application in scientific and professional activities. LO3. Applies a wide range of academic oral and written communication tools in foreign and state languages to obtain professional information and engage in interpersonal communication. LO4. Implements a scientific approach to managing production and innovation activities, and to solving research and professional tasks to ensure biological and environmental safety. LO5. Explains the laws of natural sciences that influence the evolution of the organic world and priority directions in modern biology. LO7. Conducts scientific research with subsequent synthesis of research and analytical work in the form of dissertations, research projects, articles, analytical reports, etc., to solve specific biological problems while adhering to principles of professional ethics and academic integrity.
