Aim

Training bachelors who are able to carry out the educational process taking into account individual interests and abilities of students, using modern pedagogical technologies and achievements of natural sciences, who have skills of organizational work and management activity, who have leadership qualities and aspiration for self-education and self-realisation.

The results of training and formed competencies in the educational program 6B01508 "Chemistry-Biology" are:

CC 1. General education competence:

Tobe able to understand and analyze ideological, socially and personally significant philosophical problems, to analyze the main stages and patterns of historical development of Kazakhstan, its place and role in the modern world in order to form a civic position and develop patriotism, to be guided in political, social and economic processes;

CC 2. Information competence:

Information and communication competence:

complex properties of the teacher's personality, including the ability to independently search for, select the necessary information, structure, organize, present and transmit it using information and communication technologies.

CC 3.Competence in the field of modern innovations:

- knowledge of competencies in the field of educational innovations, productive activity in the field of educational innovations, the ability to implement innovative educational activities.

CC 4.Competence in the field of ICT:

Current knowledge: about the main search engines and general rules for searching and selecting information on the Internet; about the criteria for evaluating and selecting information; about the means of synchronous and asynchronous Internet communication; about Web technologies used for training; about information and reference materials that help prepare for professional activities; about the main types of training programs. online tests and online services for monitoring and self-monitoring student performance.

CC 5. Formative competence:

Possess knowledge in the field of pedagogical goal setting, skills in designing and implementing a holistic pedagogical process, be capable of positive thinking, be attached to the system of national values, adhere to ethical values, tend to humanism and optimism;

CC 6. Systematizing competence:

Possess knowledge in the field of synergetic, social pedagogical systems (a systematic approach, the principle of consistency in pedagogy), skills and abilities to search, formalize, structure and systematize psychological and pedagogical knowledge, be capable of systematic thinking and holistic perception of pedagogical reality;

CC 7. Research competence:

Possess knowledge in the field of epistemology, methodology, pedagogy and psychology, skills and abilities to manage information, carry out comprehensive monitoring based on psychological and pedagogical diagnostics, analysis and synthesis, be capable of pedagogical reflection, strive for continuous improvement of research culture.

CC 8. Subject competence:

Learning outcomes:

1.Use methods of teaching chemistry and biology in the conditions of remote, inclusive and updated content of education;

2.Apply arguments based on advanced knowledge of the field of study and principles of academic integrity;

3.Analyse information using modern information technology;

4.Apply the basics of economic, legal knowledge, sustainable development of society and nature, emergency protection and human health skills;

5.Carry out chemical analysis of substances and compounds in order to identify their qualitative and quantitative composition;

6.Apply basic theoretical and practical knowledge of basic chemistry to professional activities;

7.Use basic biological concepts and terms to explain how systems at different levels of organisation interact; 

8.Plan and conduct chemical and biological laboratory work using modern equipment, innovative technologies, while observing the necessary safety precautions;

9.Apply research methods and academic writing in the field under study;

10.Apply the mechanisms and processes that influence the evolution of the organic world and the basic laws of biology;

11.Apply the laws of social and humanitarian development of modern society, interpersonal, social, professional communication skills in the state, Russian and foreign languages;

12.Solve experimental and computational problems of various levels of complexity, including non-standard ones;

In 2025 (registration number: 25/25KA0093), they received specialized accreditation from the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Educational Systems (CAAAE) for a period of 5 years, until 2030.
