On December 9, 2025, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography hosted an interactive exhibition titled “Digital Tools for Biologists.” Second-year Master’s students of the Biology program showcased the potential of modern digital resources in biology education.
The exhibition featured five innovative stations. The “Interactive Bioloupe” station demonstrated the functions of the ActivInspire program. At the “3D Modeling of Biostructures” station, participants viewed cell and DNA models in VR/AR formats. The “Canva AI” station presented quick creation of infographics and presentations. “BioMediaLab” offered multimedia animations of biological processes, while the “AI Lesson Constructor” station showcased how artificial intelligence can generate lesson plans and learning materials within minutes.
The event was attended by University of Washington researcher PhD Tara Scully, faculty members, and students. Participants highlighted the effectiveness of using digital and AI technologies in biology education and explored new opportunities for creating multimodal content.
