November 24, 2021, at the department of biology and ecology of the faculty of natural geography, WKU named after M. Utemisov, a round table took place on the topic "Organization of project activities of students in the framework of the University - School - University program". A foreign guest, teachers of city schools, employees of organizations of additional education, teaching staff of the department, students, and undergraduates of the faculty participated in the round table.
During the round table, the following reports were heard:
- About the status of a teacher in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Dudina Anna Gennadievna - teacher-master, secondary school №16.
- Work of the department of ecological tourism with young ecologists of the region. Gatauov Niyazbek Khamidollievich - head of the department of ecological tourism of the regional center for children and youth center of tourism and ecology.
- Growing plants using hydroponics. Kadyrzhanov Daniyar - 11th-grade student, secondary school №5.
- Research work of universities in Poland on the example Kazimierz Wielki University. Slawomir Kaczmarek - doctor of biological sciences, professor of Kazimierz Wielki University, Bydgoszcz, Poland.
- Problems of organizing research work of students. Alzhanova Bagdagul Saktaganovna - associate professor, candidate of agricultural sciences, WKU named after M. Utemisov.
- Activation of research activities of students in the study of recreational facilities in the city. Mamysheva Marina Vyacheslavovna - senior lecturer, department of biology and ecology, WKU named after M. Utemisova, master of natural sciences.
The presented reports were informative, interesting, and useful. Summing up the results of the round table, the participants expressed the need for further cooperation and conducting a training seminar for school teachers in the department of biology and ecology on the topic: "Organization and conducting of research work for schoolchildren."
